Michael D. Welch has served as Group 1’s Vice President and Treasurer since January 2012. Since joining Group 1 in June of 2000, Welch held the positions of: Director and Treasurer from February 2010 - December 2011; Director, Operations Controller from August 2007 - February 2010; Director, Assistant Controller from November 2004 - August 2007; Manager, Assistant Controller from January 2002 - November 2004; and, Manager, Corporate Compliance from June 2000 - January 2002. Prior to joining Group 1, he worked for a public accounting firm after obtaining his bachelor's degree from Oklahoma Baptist University.
